EPTO Traineeship Announcement - Project Management

EPTO IS OFFERING A PAID INTERNSHIP IN EUROPEAN PROJECT MANAGEMENT
STARTING July 2019 (FLEXIBLE DATE) / FULL-TIME (38H / WEEK)

Want to develop your project management skills in European projects? You can help young people in Europe become change agents for social inclusion.

 

EPTO is offering a paid one-year traineeship in project management. You will be working in a dynamic NGO located in Brussels, building a stronger European network of youth-serving NGOs using peer education as a methodology to enhance social inclusion.

You will be responsible for organising European trainings and events, monitoring the implementation of local peer training workshops, and helping to animate and expande a network of 30 youth-serving NGOs using peer education that generates social engagement, creates inclusive environments, and confronts discrimination in all its forms.

All tasks will be carried out under the supervision of the Co-Managers and maintain a collaborative working relationship with all EPTO staff, partners and interns/volunteers.

Practicalities:

 

  • Full-time traineeship (5 days / week), based in Brussels

  • Contract duration: 12 months, subject to a favorable evaluation after the first 3 months.

  • Salary is based on “convention d’immersion professionnelle” (Belgian legal framework)

  • Start Date: 1st July 2019

 

Qualifications required:

 

  • Candidates are expected to have at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.

  • Fluency in English, both oral and written; proficiency in French is a plus.

  • Familiarity with current ICT tools: Microsoft/Libre Office, Internet cloud / collaborative tools, social media… Knowledge of basic graphic design tools (Adobe Creative) is a plus.

 

Profile:

 

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage responsibilities in an office environment.

  • Previous project management experience.

  • Excellent organizational, writing and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and in a team.

  • Service-oriented, eager to learn attitude.
